The Catholic Charitable Bureau of The Archdiocese of Boston Inc., associated with Catholic Charities and Catholic Charities Board of Trustees’ central office located in South Boston, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the office of the President and the Vice President of Programs.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing overall administrative support and will assist as a liaison to the Board of Trustees, Pastoral Center Staff, Community and Division Directors, Senior Management Group, Advisory Boards and community leaders while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Primary responsibilities will include; coordination of the annual United Way fundraising campaign for the Archdiocesan clergy, organizing travel arrangements, preparing correspondence, presentations, reports and assigned projects in a timely manner. The Administrative Assistant will also be responsible for coordinating Real estate, Facilities and Help Desk projects.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with prior experience assisting a President or Chief Executive Officer and additional secretarial school experience is preferred.
A high level of confidence communicating with all levels of staff
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Meeting Maker and Outlook is essential for this role.
A current Massachusetts driver's license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel also required.
