Peers as Lasting Support - P.A.L.S.

P.A.L.S. is a high-quality mentoring program being developed to serve Brockton's young champions. The program is aimed at fulfilling specific needs of young people to position themselves for more life opportunities through a healthy mentoring relationship with selected adults.

P.A.L.S. believes that each person within this rising generation has the potential to become an effective contributor to the world. Each person is also entitled to an extended amount of careful attention, positive guidance and continuous encouragement from their own community. The program was designed to stem the tide of violence and gang activity in the city of Brockton. PALS has been adopted by SOAR as a new challenge to prevent crime before it happens.
