Community Interpreter Services
Client Testimonials
“Catholic Charities was able to provide us with a diverse group of interpreters on short notice, a process that was made easy for us through their Interpreter Services program. The individuals who showed up for our events were very professional, and contributed greatly to the success of our vaccination clinics in the City of Boston.”
Michael Colanti, Boston Public Health Commission
“Always professional, Catholic Charities Interpreter/translation services have fulfilled our district’s needs in an efficient and effective manner. Requesting services is never a problem; appointments have never been broken. With the help of Catholic Charities, we are able to support and keep our second language families involved and informed of their child’s experience in the Chelsea Public Schools.”
Mary-Grace Fusco, Chelsea Public Schools
“The interpreter staff has been of great assistance to our diverse work force for quarterly meetings and events. The process is fast and well managed. I recommend this service for any business that may need it!”
Dawn Cacciotti, Signature Breads
“Scheduling an interpreter is a very easy process, and we have always had our requests filled promptly. The interpreters are extremely professional and act in a caring manner toward our parents and students. As our need for interpretation has increased, we consider Catholic Charities Community Interpreter Services to be an invaluable resource.”
Diane McCarthy, Stoneham Public Schools

Two of our Haitian Creole interpreters,
Dr. Nosamiefan "Imina" Oyemwimina and Rachel Sanon, led a panel discussion: Interpreting During Crises: The Case of Haiti at the 14th annual New England Translation Association's (NETA) conference at Boston University in May, 2010. The workshop served as a study in discussing the importance of interpretation and translation in an emergency setting following the devastating
earthquake in January.
