Family Stabilization

The goal of Family Stabilization Services is to help keep new, first, and second generation immigrant families in Boston together. Referred by the Department of Social Services, these families face economic hardship, crime, drugs, personal and family challenges, as well as legalization issues, language barriers, and adapting to a different culture. Intensive case management and counseling helpsto meet their basic needs and to negotiate a system that is often confusing. Social workers are available “24/7” to their families, often providing support well into the night and on weekends.
