Merrimack Valley Young Parents Program

Our Young Parents Program in Lowell offers GED preparation classes to young parents and young pregnant women between the ages of 14 and 21. Other supportive services are offered including computer skills training, parenting skills training, and job or college preparation. The goals of this program are to increase the educational attainment level of participants to help them obtain a high school diploma or GED and to assist young parents in securing employment through education and training. The Young Parents Program is funded in part by the Department of Transitional Assistance and the Department of Social Services.
