Located in Boston’s South End, El Centro del Cardenal’s Infant/Toddler Center caters to a variety of parents, including teen parents, from Boston and the surrounding areas. Our program provides a warm and nurturing experience for infants and toddlers within a small classroom setting.

El Centro del Cardenal’s Infant/Toddler Program is open year-round from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and serves infants and toddlers ages 4 weeks-2.9 years. Our classroom is a mixed age group of 12 children, up to six of them can be infants 4 weeks-15 months of age, and the remaining are toddlers 15 months-2.9 years old. Two experienced full-time teachers and one full-time assistant teacher care for the children in this class. The classroom environment fosters an atmosphere where the children can learn from each other as well as from the adults in the room.
El Centro del Cardenal accepts vouchers from the Department of Transitional Assistance. A limited number of subsidized slots from the Department of Early Education and Care are available.
