Lynn Child Care Center

The Lynn Child Care Center serves children from Lynn, Nahant, and Saugus , and provides children with the activities which help them develop and learn at their own pace. Academics, crafts, music, play, and creative activities are provided throughout the day. Every child enrolled in our program receives breakfast, lunch, and one snack daily.

Lynn Child Care accepts vouchers from the Department of Transitional Assistance. A limited number of subsidized slots from the Department of Early Education and Care are available.

The Lynn Child Care Center is licensed through the Department of Early Education and Care and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Infant/Toddler Program

The Infant/Toddler Program at the Lynn Child Care Center is open year-round from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and serves children ages 2 months-2.9 years. Daily activities include painting, singing, reading, dancing, gross motor activities, blocks, and puzzles.

Pre-School Program

Our Pre-School Program is open year round from 6:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m. and serves children ages 2.9 years-6 years. Children in our center participate in a curriculum that is conducted in both small and large groups. Activities include art, music, math, science, circle time, reading, writing, and outdoor play. The curriculum is theme-based and promotes learning with the concept of the whole child in mind.

Kindergarten Program

The kindergarten is a full day program designed to accommodate the needs of working families. To meet the different learning styles of the children, the teachers work with parents to assess their child’s needs, offer a variety of early school learning activities, and ease the transition into elementary school. Children gain beginning reading, writing and math skills in a structured but supportive environment.

Family Child Care Program

In our Family Child Care Program, your child will receive individualized attention and loving care in a licensed Family Child Care home. Each Family Child Care home is different. Some have a home away from home feel while others are more like small child care centers. However, they all create a welcoming environment for children.

The Family Child Care Program serves children from birth-6 years of age from Lynn, Saugus, and Nahant. It is open year-round from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. At the time of enrollment, specific hours of child care within this time frame will be arranged to meet your family’s need for child care.
