Peabody Child Care

The Peabody Child Care Center is a year round child care facility that serves children from Peabody, Salem, Beverly, and Danvers. All children receive breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.

Peabody Child Care accepts vouchers from the Department of Transitional Assistance. A limited number of subsidized slots from the Department of Early Education and Care are available.

The Peabody Child Care Center is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Pre-School Program

Our Pre-School Program is a full-time, full-year child care facility open from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. serving children ages 2.9-7 years of age.

Kindergarten Program

The kindergarten is a full day program designed to accommodate the needs of working families. To meet the different learning styles of the children, the teachers work with parents to assess their child’s needs, offer a variety of early school learning activities, and ease the transition into elementary school. Children gain beginning reading, writing and math skills in a structured but supportive environment.

School-Age Program

Our School-Age Program is a year-round program open to children ages 5-13 years. During the school year our hours of operation are 2-6 p.m. During school vacations we are open from 6:45 a.m.-6 p.m. Children participate in arts and crafts, field trips, homework assistance, community projects, outdoor activities, and music.

Family Child Care Program

In our Family Child Care Program, your child will receive individualized attention and loving care in a licensed Family Child Care home. Each Family Child Care home is different. Some have a home away from home feel while others are more like small child care centers. However, they all create a welcoming environment for children.

We serve children from birth-6 years of age from Peabody, Salem, Danvers, and Beverly. Our family child care homes are open year round from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Activities for children are designed to meet social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of each child. Children will participate in arts and crafts, science, music and movement, dramatic play, literacy, outdoor play, and quiet time.
