(Boston) January 20, 2010-- L&M Bargain Store Inc., a family owned retail clothing business with locations in Boston and Brockton has committed itself to donating 10% of its gross sales to relief efforts in Haiti for the next two weekends.
"We will donate 10% of each transaction in our stores to the Agencies of Catholic Charities, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, and the American Red Cross," said owner Stuart Salzberg. "These organizations will direct the funds to on the ground relief operations including food distribution, medical care, and other basic survival needs."
