Success Connections

Success Connections provides traditionally underserved populations the workforce readiness skills and English proficiency necessary to facilitate successful job placement and advancement through GED and ESOL classes in Plymouth, Kingston, Rockland, and surrounding towns.

Educational Approach:

• Raise the literacy level of students
• Give students the resources and instruction needed to pass the General Equivalency Diploma (GED) exam
• Help students gain access to entry-level jobs and higher levels of education
• Encourage students to further their education, including Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide training programs or other available skills training and certification programs
• Assist in immigration matters regarding permanent residency, citizenship and establishing family status

Classes offered:

• GED Classes
• English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes for adults
• Conversation practice sessions with local volunteers are also available to students attending ESOL classes

Classes are taught by experienced teachers and assisted by dedicated volunteer tutors and practice partners. After completing classes, many students are prepared for additional schooling, entry-level jobs, or increased responsibilities in their current jobs.
