Sunset Point Camp - Positive Impact

Many Sunset Point campers live with the harsh realities of poverty, violence, homelessness, and a host of other challenges, so the opportunity to spend a week at summer camp allows them the chance to relax, learn new skills, build personal confidence and enjoy a vacation free from the worries of everyday life.

With the threat of violence an ever present problem in many of their neighborhoods, providing parents with options like Sunset Point Camp for their children during out of school times can literally be life-saving. We measure the impact of the camp based on the happiness it brings these campers every summer.
