Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Boston (CCAB) strongly opposes the decision to terminate the Deferred Action of Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program on March 5, 2018 or after six months. Nearly 8,000 people in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are DACA recipients; they are our neighbors, they are employed, pay taxes and have families. They are among the nearly 800,000 DACA recipients in the United States whose lives are upended today by the Administration’s decision. DACA recipients defend America’s freedom in the U.S.
