Business Manager


We are currently seeking a full-time Business Manager for the Central office located in South Boston.

The Business Manager will primarily support the Refugee and Immigrant Core service area with all accounting, budgeting, reporting and billing functions. The Refugee and Immigrant services area (RIS), includes Resettlement, Legal, Interpreter, and Unaccompanied Migrant Children programs. The business manager will be responsible for preparing budgets, reporting financial results, financial analysis, monitoring contracts and restricted funds, and invoicing multiple government agencies and partners.

Qualifications include

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or 3-5 years of prior work related experience preferably in a nonprofit environment.
  • Experience with Great Plains and Solver budgeting is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Office365, e-learning and webinars
  • Experience with virtual communication and meeting tools such as Zoom
  • Strong writing, typing and computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal with keen attention to detail.
