We are currently seeking a full-time Education and Workforce Development Program Manager for the North program located in Lynn.
The Program Manager is responsible for the management of the youth/adult education and workforce development programs at Catholic Charities North and the supervision and oversight of program employees; program budgets; program billing; program development; program grant writing; as well as all required reporting to funders. The Program Manager provides leadership in developing new training and collaborations to better serve the needs of youth/adults on the North Shore. The Program Manager is responsible for the provision of wrap-around counseling and case management services to all students enrolled in Education Center Programs.
Qualifications include
- A master’s degree in social work or master’s degree in education/human service field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years prior experience working in and education/workforce development environment.
- A minimum of 3 years management and supervisory experience.
- Experience in quality management.
- Proficient writing and editing skills with attention to detail, previous grant writing experience required.
- Experience with developing program budgets and billing procedures.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to motivate others; able to lead by example; and problem solve.
- Knowledge of working with a trauma informed approach.
- Experience working with diverse adolescent, young parent and adult populations.
- Experience providing services to culturally diverse communities/families/participants.
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for local travel.
- Bilingual Spanish an asset.
