Program Quality Specialist


We are currently seeking a full-time Program Quality Specialist for multisite early education and care programs throughout the greater Boston area.

The Program Quality Specialist will work closely with our early childhood program directors to provide technical assistance, training and support to enhance each program’s capacity to offer high quality care settings for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. The Program Quality Specialist will work collaboratively to conduct program observations and assessments using evidence-based tools in center-based programs, work collaboratively with program directors to plan content specific trainings, and in-person coaching opportunities to enhance quality Indicators as defined by DEEC, QRIS, NAEYC and Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Boston.

Qualifications include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Early Care and Education (ECE) or related field, minimum 15 credits in ECE.
  • Minimum of 3 credit-bearing hours of specialized college-level course work in administration, leadership or management.
  • Prior work experience with a program seeking and successfully achieving NAEYC accreditation
  • Department of EEC Lead Teacher qualified.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience teaching preschool and infant/toddlers.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to multiple sites.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Power Point required.
