Labouré Adult Education

The Labouré Adult Education program, established in 2019, is located at the Catholic Charities Labouré Center in South Boston. The Labouré Adult Education program is designed to support students and encourage them while they meet their educational, personal, economic and social goals. Students are welcome to join classes focused on improving English literacy, finding a job, acquiring or improving job skills, entering a vocational training program or preparing for entrance into college.

Classes are free of charge. The program is open to anyone who wants to learn, without restrictions on residency, immigration status, age or language proficiency.

Labouré Adult Education offers five levels of ESOL instruction, as well as Math and Computer Literacy instruction, Distance Learning, and college and career counseling and guidance.
The program offers morning and evening classes.

The morning program:

  • 4 days a week, 9:00am - 1:00pm
    *Days of classes vary depending on level of class

The evening program:

  • Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays, 5:30 - 8:30pm 

Labouré Adult Education is a community that helps adult immigrants acclimate to the U.S. culture, develop English language proficiency, and build a future.
