Catholic Charities Child Care Curriculum is based on the development of the whole child. Our research based curriculum is designed to stimulate the growth of your child’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. We believe that children learn best through play and discovery and so we use this philosophy as a framework for planning and implementing curriculum in your child’s classroom. Our curriculum is taught by educated, caring, professional staff at our six child care locations.
In addition to our center based care Catholic Charities also offers the same quality curriculum and care in a Home-based Family Child Care setting. We are currently contracted with professional, independent family child care educators to care for children in their licensed homes. Our network of providers represents the rich cultural diversity of the communities we serve. Family child care providers share a desire to partner with you to support your child’s growth and to prepare your child for school success. Our licensed family child care homes encourage active exploration in order to support your child’s growth and development all within a safe, nurturing and supportive environment.
Catholic Charities staff is available to family child care educators to offer support through monthly visits, ongoing professional development opportunities, assessments, training, and family engagement events. Choosing a child care program is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. Our job is to help you find the right match for your family.
