We are currently seeking a Program Support Professional at the Adult Education program located in Brockton.

The Program Support Professional works 10 hours weekly during the evening from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday during the school year. The position includes communicating with students to schedule assessments, performing assessments on a schedule and recording all results in agency database and state database. It also includes providing tech help as needed for students, especially remote students, and teachers who need assistance with technology.

Qualifications include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in education or related field with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Zoom and other electronic remote platforms.  Proficient Internet skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and compassionately in a culturally competent manner, with students of a wide variety of backgrounds, skill levels, race and ethnicity with varying level of English language skills.
  • Interest and ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Available to work late afternoon and evenings.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good typing skills and attention to detail.
