Today is National Nurses Day, a day to celebrate nurses and other healthcare workers and to thank them for their hard work keeping patients healthy, especially after a year of living and working through the COVID-19 pandemic.

At Catholic Charities of Boston, we’re proud to educate nursing assistants and home health aides and help them embark on a career in the high-demand health care field.  Students who graduate from the program go on to successful careers in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, visiting nurse services, and other facilities.

Program graduate Beth had always dreamed of a healthcare career. After raising her four children, she learned about Catholic Charities of Boston’s Nurse Assistant program and began her journey to a new and fulfilling career. Today, Beth and her fellow classmates are essential frontline workers assisting in the fight against COVID-19.
