Catholic Charities of Boston (CCAB) is very excited to welcome back volunteer groups to our programs. Volunteers play a critical role in helping us expand and enhance our programs and services to continue serving our most vulnerable community members in need.

A group of exceptional Emmanuel College students joined the team at CCAB’s St. Ambrose Family Shelter for a Service Day on Saturday, June 12.  Students spent the day cleaning brush to maximize planting space and enlarge the community garden at the shelter.  The St. Ambrose garden provides fresh produce for residents at the shelter and our neighbors in Dorchester.  Thanks to our volunteers, we can continue expanding the garden to grow more produce this summer and fall.
