Child Care Reopening Procedure: COVID Pre-Screening

In following the policies and procedures for reopening our child care locations, every child must complete a pre-screening questionnaire before they are admitted into the building. To streamline this process and ensure everyone is accounted for, please click the child care location that your child attends and complete and submit this questionnaire daily.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students, teachers and staff during these difficult times.

Our Philosophy

We believe that it is our responsibility to provide a setting which enhances individual strengths and differences, and which sees each unique child, parent and educator as a member of our community. We strive to incorporate individual personalities, skills, and needs into our classroom curriculum and

special activities.

Our programs are designed to meet the needs of our families by providing child care that is flexible in hours, is reasonably priced, and meets our parents’ needs for their child. We believe that knowing your child is appreciated as an individual, is seen as a member of a larger family group, and is supported and nurtured as they reach their potential helps parents meet their own work and personal needs.

Our Curriculum

Catholic Charities Child Care Curriculum is based on the development of the whole child. Our research based curriculum is designed to stimulate the growth of your child’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. We believe that children learn best through play and discovery and so we use this philosophy as a framework for planning and implementing curriculum in your child’s classroom. Our curriculum is taught by educated, caring, professional staff at our seven child care locations.

In addition to our center based care Catholic Charities also offers the same quality curriculum and care in a Home-based Family Child Care setting. We are currently contracted with professional, independent family child care educators to care for children in their licensed homes. (Read more)

All of our centers are accredited by the National association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC). Many of our Family child care homes are accredited by the National association of Family Child Care (NAFCC).
