Sunset Point Camp
A Whole Week to be a Kid
At Sunset Point Camp, children develop independence, new passions, healthy habits, and lasting friendships.
About the Camp
Sunset Point Camp provides an overnight camp experience to children ages 6-14 from Greater Boston and the South Shore areas. Campers travel to Hull, MA each summer to learn new talents, participate in water-based activities from swimming to boating, teaming building through sports, creativity through arts and crafts, receive academic summer support, enjoy ice cream socials and treasure night, along with a host of other activities centered around having fun.
Over 100 Years of Memories
Sunset Point Camp first opened its doors in 1919. The main dining hall was originally part of a veteran’s hospital on Bumpkin Island in Boston Harbor before moving to its current location in Hull, MA. In 2014, the camp underwent extensive renovations and is comprised of two bunkhouses, an indoor gym, a kitchen, nurse’s station, staff bedrooms, an arts and crafts room, a rec room, and a grand hall with a stage and fireplace. Outside, the camp has an in-ground pool, basketball court, swings, and a beautiful courtyard for all types of activities.
Sunset Point campers are supervised and coached by a camp director, program director, camp counselors, kitchen staff, life guards, and nurses. Camp participation includes transportation to and from camp, three meals a day plus snacks, overnight accommodation in the boys or girls bunkhouse, a full spectrum of recreational activities, and bus transportation during the week to Nantasket Beach and other locations.
Sunset Point costs $25 per camper for the week. Our camp fees are designed so that every family in need can afford Sunset Point Camp.
