A Look Back: "This is My Community" Speaker Series: From the Border to Boston, Making Sense of Immigration Today

One year ago, we welcomed Sister Norma Pimentel and Mohamad Ali, two of the nation's strongest champions for immigrants, for our "This is My Community" speaker series event. In an enlightening panel discussion moderated by WBUR's Tiziana Dearing, Sister Norma and Mr. Ali addressed the faith, economic and humanitarian dimensions of the immigration issue.

Boston Resiliency Fund Awards Catholic Charities of Boston $62,500; $256,340 Over the Past Year

We are thrilled to announce that Catholic Charities of Boston (CCAB) received a $62,500 grant from the Boston Resiliency Fund as part of their final round of awards. Since the onset of the pandemic, the Boston Resiliency Fund has awarded CCAB $256,340 in aid to support our community members in need through this trying time.

"The more people who get vaccinated from all walks of life, whether they're homeless or not… it helps all of us as a whole," Mayes said.
