On Earth Day, Rebuilding Together Boston Volunteers Help Clean up Catholic Charities Boston’s St. Ambrose Family Shelter
To celebrate Earth Day, which was this past Saturday, April 22, Catholic Charities Boston’s St. Ambrose Family Shelter in Dorchester hosted 50 volunteers from Rebuilding Together Boston,
sponsored by the Grand Circle Foundation, who teamed up with St. Ambrose staff to help repaint the shelter’s walls, repair the floors, build new shelves, and tend to the vibrant garden outside St. Ambrose.
In support of Catholic Charities Boston’s mission, City Councilor Julia Mejia spent part of the day on-site, forming connections with volunteers and staff. To learn more, check out the Channel 7 News segment here.
