Mayor Gary Christenson Visits Malden Child Care Center

On Wednesday, June 15th, Mayor Gary Christenson visited Catholic Charities Boston’s Malden Child Care Center to support the preschool children as they planted flowers in the school garden. A group of nearly 100 people, consisting of teachers, students, and parents, gathered to welcome the mayor and celebrate the children’s efforts. The gardening supplies and plants were donated by Malden High School, who shares the building with Catholic Charities’ Malden Child Care Center. Assistant Director of the Malden Early Education and Child Care Program, Theresa Ferguson, said her and the other teachers were thrilled by the mayor’s support and grateful for Malden High School’s ongoing generosity.
