After-School and Summer Programs in Peabody Offer New Opportunities for Growth

It’s a misconception that learning only happens in the classroom and ends when the school day is over. At Catholic Charities’ Peabody Child Care program, we believe that children are learning all the time through the world around them. Our expert team of educators are committed to nurturing and empowering the innate creativity, skills, and development of children through our multifaceted after-school and summer programs.

The after-school and summer programs offered include creative projects strategically designed to align with your child’s curriculum, homework assistance, recreational play, nutritious snacks and meals. In addition, students enjoy 30 free adventure-packed field trips in the summer.

“Catholic Charities kids are always on the go in the summer. We enjoy the parks, Salem Willows, exciting field trips, and guest events every Friday here at our center,” said Shania Torres, OST Director for Peabody.

“Our kids always keep a bag packed for waterplay and outdoor adventures. We encourage summer reading and provide daily arts and crafts activities,” added Mary Mastroelli, Child Care Center Director for Peabody.

Our coordinators value the long-term relationships they forge with families and understand the importance of continuity of care from preschool to after school. Transportation is provided from several schools in Peabody, Danvers, and Salem.

At CCAB’s Peabody Child Care program, every moment is believed to be ripe with the opportunity for growth. To witness a child make a new friend, learn a new skill, or walk with just a bit more jump in their step by participating in our after-school and summer programs are some of the small successes that continually motivate our dedicated team of educators.
